ANGEL BLUE, soprano
Angel Blue has emerged in recent years as one of the most important sopranos before the public today. In 2019 she opened the Metropolitan Opera's season as Bess in a new production of George Gershwin’s "Porgy and Bess." In 2020 she became the first African-American to receive the Beverly Sills Award from the Metropolitan Opera. Join us for an enchanting evening of outstanding vocal repertoire as Arts and Life teams up with the National Association of Teachers of Singing to welcome Angel Blue to Arkansas.
